Attopsemi\u2019s fuse-based OTP, I-fuse\u2122, has small size, low voltage, low power, high reliability, and wide temperature capabilities to enable Vanguard\u2019s wafers in industry, communication, automotive, and IoT applications.<\/p>\n<p>The first I-fuse\u2122 IP qualified at VIS was in 0.16um HV process that was announced on March 31, 2015 to pass High Temperature Storage (HTS) at 300\u00b0C for 3,000 hours. The same wafer was continued stressed with 300\u00b0C for up to 4,290 hours without any failure bits in more than 3 millions fuses. Subsequently, I-fuse\u2122 in several nodes were qualified under industry ISO standard procedures as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>0.16um HV: 3 lots of HTOL at 150\u00b0C and 3 lots of HTS at 300\u00b0C for 1000 hours.<\/li>\n<li>0.18um logic and mixed-signal: 3 lots of HTOL at 150\u00b0C and 3 lots of HTS at 250oC for 1000 hours.<\/li>\n<li>0.15um BCD: 3 lots of HTOL at 150\u00b0C and 3 lots of HTS at 250\u00b0C for 1000 hours.<\/li>\n<li>0.15um HV: 3 lots of HTOL at 150\u00b0C and 3 lots of HTS at 250\u00b0C for 1000 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cWe sincerely appreciate our collaboration with Vanguard to provide the best possible OTP solutions for the semiconductor industry,\u201d said Shine Chung, Chairman of Attopsemi. \u201cAfter many years of innovation and hard work to perfect our proprietary I-fuse\u2122 technology, they have finally been qualified in Vanguard International&#8217;s fabs and manufactured in Vanguard and other prominent silicon foundries. We proved that I-fuse\u2122 can provide high reliability, wide temperature, smaller cell size using a fraction of program current than the ubiquitous electrical fuse. Unlike other OTP solutions, our I-fuse\u2122 OTP follows standard logic design and test flows that can be easily integrated into SoC design flows.
